Interoperability Program

Our interoperability and certification program covers signaling and media testing between Bria/eyeBeam and other network elements.

The signaling protocol standard to be tested is the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and the related standards including SDP, DTMF, the SIMPLE and XMPP standards for presence and IM, and codec standards and implementations for both audio and video media. For more information about the supported standards and RFC documents, see SIP and Open Standards.

Network Interoperability Testing

CounterPath strives to ensure interoperability with all network elements. Most network interoperability testing is performed remotely as part of the partner's IOT program. For those partners who do not have a formal program, we work with these companies to develop a custom testing event.

To participate in network interoperability testing, contact us at bizdev@counterpath.com.

Device Interoperability Testing

Our device interoperability and certification program provides the ability for you to test your products with our softphone. Our goal is to ensure that softphone users experience high quality audio and video calls so it is important that each device is tested and certified to guarantee quality.

Some of the products we have tested with include, but are not limited to:

  • USB headsets
  • handsets and speakerphones
  • Bluetooth headsets
  • webcams
